They are seeking a Mid-Level Controls Engineer to join a long-term project with a highly specialized client. This role involves onsite work in Haverhill, MA, supporting critical automation and control systems for a major life sciences facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems for process automation.
  • Develop and maintain instrumentation systems, including pumps, valves, and related components.
  • Create and review hardware control panel designs to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize control solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • PLC programming expertise (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation (pumps, valves, sensors).
  • Experience in hardware control panel design and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to work onsite and coordinate with client engineering teams.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or controls engineering.
