To continue building on this success, the company is seeking an experienced engineer to step into the role of Missouri Transportation Lead. This leader will work closely with senior leadership across multiple offices and play a key role in advancing business development efforts, strengthening client relationships, and supporting high‑quality project delivery across the state.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Transportation Projects
- Direct the full project lifecycle for transportation assignments funded by federal programs-from initial scoping to final deliverables.
- Develop high‑quality plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
Engage with Key Stakeholders
- Partner with state and local agencies, regulatory bodies, municipalities, and community organizations.
- Ensure solutions are coordinated, compliant, and aligned with agency requirements.
Build and Develop the Missouri Team
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and support staff.
- Lead the transportation discipline across Missouri and help grow the regional team.
Collaborate Across Offices
- Work closely with transportation groups throughout the company to share knowledge, coordinate workload, and promote consistent practices.
Drive Strategic Growth
- Participate in long‑term planning to strengthen market presence, improve project delivery, and identify new opportunities.
- Support and lead client‑facing initiatives, proposal efforts, and pursuit strategies.

What We're Looking For
Education & Licensure
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Missouri
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering
- Proven ability to lead projects, manage technical processes, and guide teams
- Experience with state and local transportation agencies in Missouri is highly advantageous
Business Development
- Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, lead proposal development, and contribute to strategic pursuits
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of transportation engineering principles, design tools, and regulatory requirements
