National Property Condition Assessor (PCA)

We're partnered with an established building sciences and environmental consulting firm adding an experienced PCA Assessor to their due diligence team. This role covers field assessments, client-ready reporting, and guiding junior staff as the group grows. The position is open nationally for anyone within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Property Condition Assessments under ASTM E2018 across a range of commercial property types.
  • Perform commercial energy audits and identify energy conservation measures for client portfolios.
  • Support Phase I Environmental Site Assessments alongside the firm's environmental professionals.
  • Direct field activities and coordinate subcontractors, engineers, and clients to keep projects on schedule.
  • Write and review building condition reports, energy audits, and technical deliverables.
  • Prepare and implement site-specific Health and Safety Plans.
  • Mentor project team members and maintain consistent quality across work product.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction with 4+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience executing PCAs under ASTM E2018 and delivering energy auditing services.
  • Environmental assessment, mechanical systems evaluation, and CAD knowledge are all a plus.
  • PE or RA registration a plus; OSHA-10 or -30 required, with training provided if needed.
  • Strong technical report writing paired with clear verbal and interpersonal communication.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally for field work.
