Our client, a leading name in transportation engineering, is seeking an experienced Highway/Roadway Department Manager to head up their New York City operation. In this pivotal, permanent role, you will lead multiple specialist groups, drive the growth of client relationship, and ensure the high-quality delivery of roadway, highway, water, and broader transportation projects. This is a key leadership opportunity within our client's team, based in the heart of New York City.
Key Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in roadway/civil/transportation engineering leadership.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in New York.
- Proven background in business development and client relationship management.
- Experience working on local projects across the New York and New Jersey area
Key Skills and Focus Areas
- Transportation Engineering: Lead and oversee complex transportation projects, ensuring technical excellence and on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Highway and Roadway Design: Direct teams working on highway and roadway infrastructure, setting standards and guiding design strategy.
- Civil Engineering (USA/NYC): Apply deep understanding of US and New York City civil engineering codes, practices, and permitting requirements.
