Operations Manager - Industrial Automation & System Integration
Western Michigan | $175,000 - $200,000 Base + 20% Bonus
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, project managers, and technical leaders.
- Oversee project delivery, execution, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive resource planning, utilization, and workforce allocation.
- Manage project financials, budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
- Support project estimating, pricing, and proposal reviews.
- Grow customer relationships and drive repeat business.
- Develop and mentor team members and future leaders.
- Partner with sales, engineering, and executive leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience within system integration, industrial automation, MES, OT, or engineering services.
- Experience leading customer-facing technical teams.
- Strong project, resource, and financial management skills.
- Background with PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, MES, OT, or industrial automation technologies.
- Experience supporting project costing, estimates, proposals, or pricing activities.
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Open to limited travel.
