Operations Manager
MI | $175,000 - $200,000 Base Salary + 20% Bonus
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technical professionals.
- Oversee project delivery, operational execution, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive workforce planning, resource allocation, and team utilization across multiple projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and executive stakeholders.
- Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational performance.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and succession planning efforts.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to support business growth and strategic objectives.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for customers and internal teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial automation, engineering services, technical operations, or related industrial environments.
- Proven success leading and developing technical teams.
- Strong experience with project delivery, budgeting, resource planning, and operational performance management.
- Customer-facing experience with the ability to build strong, long-term relationships.
- Comfortable working with executive stakeholders and cross-functional leadership teams.
- Exposure to automation, controls, industrial technology, manufacturing systems, MES, analytics, OT, or digital transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
- Ability to balance technical understanding with operational and business leadership responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, or related discipline preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
