About the Role
A leading mechanical contractor in the Greenville area is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Manager to lead and grow its plumbing service division. This role is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, managing technicians, maintaining strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of plumbing service technicians.
- Oversee day-to-day service operations, dispatching, scheduling, and workforce planning.
- Ensure service calls, maintenance agreements, and repair projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial and industrial clients.
- Support the sales team in identifying service opportunities and generating new business.
- Review estimates, proposals, and service contract opportunities.
- Monitor department performance, productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Manage technician recruitment, training, performance reviews, and career development.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project management, construction, and leadership teams to support overall business goals.
- Resolve client concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial plumbing service operations.
- Previous experience leading service technicians, supervisors, or field teams.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Proven ability to manage service operations, budgets, and department performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.
- Experience with service management software and dispatch systems is preferred.
- Ability to develop business opportunities and maintain client accounts.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Experience
- Mechanical contractor or commercial plumbing contractor background.
- Experience managing service agreements and preventative maintenance programs.
- Strong understanding of South Carolina plumbing codes and industry standards.
- Track record of driving service department growth and profitability.
