An established national MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing Indianapolis team. This is an opportunity to lead large-scale mechanical construction projects across commercial, healthcare, industrial, mission-critical, and advanced technology markets while working with a highly respected organization known for delivering complex projects nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
- Lead procurement, subcontract administration, and change order management.
- Monitor project progress and ensure all milestones are achieved.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to maintain profitability and client satisfaction.
- Support business development efforts and foster long-term client relationships.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience within mechanical, HVAC, piping, or MEP construction.
- Proven experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, scheduling, and procurement.
- Ability to lead project teams in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
