Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) - Project Manager
My client is seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to take the lead on complex surveying initiatives throughout Massachusetts. This is a key position for an experienced survey professional who values accuracy, collaboration, and strong project leadership.
Project Manager - Survey (Boston or Worcester)
In this role, you'll guide projects from initial proposal through final delivery. You'll partner closely with clients, direct field operations, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure each project is completed with precision, efficiency, and exceptional service.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage surveying projects, including scope, schedule, and budget
- Act as the main point of contact for clients while overseeing project execution
- Supervise field crews and uphold rigorous standards for data collection
- Coordinate with CAD teams and manage data processing workflows
- Perform thorough QA/QC checks on all project deliverables
- Support the growth of junior team members through mentorship and guidance
What You Bring
- Active MA PLS license (or eligibility for licensure by reciprocity)
- 6+ years of progressive land surveying experience, including project oversight
- Strong skills with Civil 3D, Carlson, and modern survey technologies
- Excellent communication abilities and demonstrated leadership
- Valid driver's license with a reliable driving record
