About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Project Architect to join its growing St. George office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including K-12 and higher education, healthcare, multifamily housing, hospitality, civic/public, commercial, industrial, religious, mixed-use, and workplace environments.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed architect (or working towards licensure) who enjoys leading project teams, collaborating with clients and consultants, and guiding projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects through all phases of design and construction.
- Develop and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Ensure projects meet quality, budget, schedule, and code requirements.
- Participate in project planning, design reviews, and client presentations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts with interior design, landscape architecture, and engineering consultants.
- Mentor junior staff and support professional development within the studio.
- Conduct construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, site observations, and coordination with contractors.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Licensed Architect preferred; candidates pursuing licensure will also be considered.
- 5+ years of professional architectural experience.
- Strong experience in Revit required.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and project delivery processes.
- Experience coordinating consultant teams and managing project documentation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
