Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Data Center
This client is a a nationally recognized mechanical contractor known for delivering complex, high-value projects across mission critical sectors. As they expand their Data Center construction division, they are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead mechanical scopes of up to $400 million.
The Opportunity:
This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing team at the forefront of data center construction. You'll take ownership of large-scale mechanical packages, drive project execution, and ensure excellence from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of mechanical scopes on hyperscale and enterprise data center projects.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple phases.
- Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and assistant PMs.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical construction, with at least 3 years in a senior PM role.
- Proven track record managing large-scale mechanical scopes ($100M+ preferred).
- Deep understanding of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems in mission critical environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent)
