Senior Quality Manager (Data Centers / Mission Critical)

Location: Southeast USA (Relocation Assistance Available)
Salary: Competitive Base + Bonus + Full Benefits

LVI Associates is partnered with a global electrical construction contractor delivering some of the most advanced hyperscale data center and mission critical projects across North America. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to lead QA/QC, commissioning readiness, and energization programs across multiple large-scale projects.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone passionate about quality, operational excellence, commissioning, and ensuring mission critical facilities are delivered safely and successfully from installation through turnover.

Responsibilities

  • Lead QA/QC, commissioning support, and energization programs across multiple mission critical projects
  • Develop and implement quality management strategies, inspection plans, test procedures, and turnover documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, contractor, and industry quality standards
  • Oversee electrical quality and commissioning activities for:
    • Medium Voltage Systems
    • Switchgear
    • Power Distribution Equipment
    • UPS Systems
    • Generators
    • Grounding Systems
    • Life Safety Infrastructure
  • Support commissioning activities including:
    • Pre-functional inspections
    • Functional testing
    • Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
    • Final turnover and acceptance
  • Partner with owners, commissioning agents, engineers, manufacturers, and project teams to establish and maintain quality requirements
  • Conduct quality audits, readiness reviews, and First-of-Kind inspections
  • Drive issue resolution through root cause analysis and corrective action programs
  • Lead Energy Marshal programs and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, energization procedures, switching plans, and MOPs
  • Develop standardized QA/QC documentation, reporting, and digital workflows
  • Mentor QA/QC Managers, Commissioning Teams, and Project Personnel
  • Track and report key project quality metrics to internal and external stakeholders
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all projects and team members

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of QA/QC experience within mission critical, data center, or critical infrastructure environments
  • Strong electrical construction background with field leadership experience
  • Extensive knowledge of:
    • Electrical installations
    • Switchgear and power systems
    • Preventative maintenance programs
    • Critical facility operations
    • Commissioning processes and documentation
  • Thorough understanding of:
    • NFPA 70E
    • NEC
    • NETA
    • IEEE
    • UL Standards
  • Experience managing quality programs across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong ability to review and interpret:
    • Construction drawings
    • BIM/VDC models
    • Specifications
    • Submittals
    • RFIs
    • Commissioning plans
    • Project schedules
  • Experience delivering training and quality-focused development programs
  • Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency with construction technology platforms and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Experience

  • 10+ years of Electrical QA/QC experience
  • Mission Critical or Hyperscale Data Center project experience
  • Experience creating and managing enterprise QA/QC programs
  • Quality Management Certifications
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License
  • Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree
  • Experience with:
    • Procore
    • Bluebeam
    • ACC Build
    • Facility Grid
    • CX Alloy
    • BIM 360
