Remote Distech Support Engineer

Remote Technical Support Engineer - Distech Controls

We're after a technical support engineer who knows Distech inside out. This one's fully remote, so you can be based anywhere as long as you've got a solid setup and can get on calls when sites need you. You'll be the person field teams and clients lean on when something isn't behaving, so being calm and methodical under a bit of pressure goes a long way here.

What you'll be doing
- Being the first port of call for technical issues on Distech systems, working through problems over the phone, email and remote sessions.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults across EC-gfxProgram, ENVYSION and the ECLYPSE and ECB controllers.
- Helping field techs and clients get systems back up and running, and walking them through fixes step by step.
- Digging into control sequences, graphics and points lists to work out what's going wrong.
- Supporting integration issues across BACnet, Modbus and LonWorks.
- Logging cases properly and keeping people updated until things are fully sorted.
- Feeding recurring issues back to the wider team so they can be designed out.
- Building out support docs and quick guides that make life easier for everyone.

What you need
- At least 3 years of hands-on Distech experience. This is the one we can't budge on. Time on other platforms helps but it won't replace real Distech knowledge.
- Good working knowledge of EC-gfxProgram, ENVYSION graphics and the ECLYPSE and ECB range.
- A solid grasp of HVAC and how standard sequences of operation work.
- Real experience with BACnet and pulling in third-party devices.
- The patience and communication skills to talk someone through a fix without losing them.
- The discipline to manage your own caseload remotely without someone looking over your shoulder.

Nice extras
- Data center or other mission-critical experience is a big plus but not a dealbreaker.
- Time spent in settings like healthcare, labs, pharma or trading floors works too.
- Any Niagara or other BAS platform experience is welcome.
- Industry certs are a bonus.

What's on offer
- Salary up to $135k.
- Fully remote with flexible hours.
- A varied caseload and genuinely interesting technical problems to get your teeth into.
- A team that backs you and keeps you learning.
