Director - Valuation & Litigation Advisory

A highly respected regional advisory and accounting firm based in the Carolinas is seeking an accomplished professional to join its Valuation & Litigation practice. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a candidate with a strong track record in client development and technical delivery, particularly in valuation and litigation support services.

Position Summary

The candidate will be responsible for leading high-value engagements, managing client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm's advisory practice. The ideal individual will bring a history of generating $500K or more in annual revenue, along with deep expertise in valuation methodologies, financial analysis, and litigation consulting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee complex valuation and litigation support engagements, including business valuations, economic damages assessments, and forensic investigations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and, where appropriate, provide expert witness testimony in legal proceedings.
  • Develop and expand client relationships, with a focus on law firms, corporate counsel, and financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to drive strategic initiatives, service innovation, and market expansion.
  • Mentor and develop junior professionals, fostering a high-performance, client-focused culture.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in valuation, litigation support, or forensic accounting.
  • Proven ability to generate and manage a book of business exceeding $500K annually.
  • Professional credentials such as CPA, ASA, ABV, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience providing expert testimony is advantageous.
