Position Overview

The Senior Director of Customer Account Management will lead the customer retention and account management function, overseeing a team responsible for driving client satisfaction, renewals, account growth, and long-term customer success. This individual will build scalable processes, establish performance metrics, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the customer account management team.
  • Drive customer retention, renewals, and account expansion initiatives.
  • Create and implement account management processes, playbooks, and service standards.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, operations, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting, and performance metrics to improve team effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in energy, consulting, customer success, account management, or related industries.
  • Proven leadership experience managing client-facing teams.
  • Strong background in customer retention, relationship management, and process improvement.
  • Experience working in high-growth or private equity-backed environments is preferred.
