About the Opportunity
A leading engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support power generation projects across the United States. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including nuclear, fossil, renewable energy, and industrial power facilities.
Engineers in this position will lead design efforts, support project execution, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex generation projects. Responsibilities
- Develop electrical engineering designs for power generation facilities
- Prepare single-line diagrams, equipment specifications, calculations, and technical reports
- Support system studies and equipment evaluations
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and engineering teams
- Review engineering deliverables and provide technical guidance
- Support projects through design, construction, commissioning, and startup
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Experience with power generation, utility, industrial, EPC, consulting, or energy projects
- Knowledge of electrical power systems and industry standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- PE license preferred but not required
