Salary: 130-170k + straight overtime + annual bonus
Job Description
A leading engineering and design firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale data center and AI infrastructure projects across the U.S.
This is a high-impact role focused on mission-critical environments, working within a fully integrated, multidisciplinary team from early design through commissioning.
The Opportunity
- Lead electrical design and act as a subject matter expert on complex data center projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and architecture teams
- Drive technical excellence across power distribution, backup systems, and high-density infrastructure
- Interface directly with clients and contribute to project strategy and delivery
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Electrical SME for mission-critical/data center projects
- Lead design, studies, and technical specifications development
- Oversee and coordinate electrical scope across medium-to-large projects
- Provide technical leadership, QA/QC, and design reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development
- Engage with clients and represent the firm in meetings and technical discussions
What We're Looking For
- BSEE required, PE license required (multi-state capability preferred)
- 12+ years of electrical design experience, including data centers
- Strong expertise in power distribution and backup power systems
- Experience with high-voltage DC systems (400VDC / 800VDC / 1500VDC)
- Working knowledge of NEC, IEC, and industry standards
- Proficiency with Revit
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships
