About the Opportunity
A leading electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent to oversee large-scale electrical construction projects across the United States. This organization delivers complex mission critical, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, and commercial projects and is known for executing high-profile work with a strong focus on safety, quality, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site electrical construction activities from mobilization through commissioning
- Manage Foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and manpower planning
- Drive project schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Coordinate materials, equipment deliveries, and workforce planning
- Conduct site safety meetings and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with Project Managers, General Contractors, clients, and field teams
- Review drawings, specifications, and installation plans
- Identify and resolve jobsite challenges to maintain project schedules
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent
- Ability and willingness to travel nationwide
- Experience on mission critical/data center, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, or large commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical construction practices
- Proven success leading large field teams and subcontractors
- Strong communication, leadership, and scheduling skills
- OSHA 30 preferred
