We're seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead remedial design and site investigation efforts on complex brownfields projects. This is a technically focused, hands-on role for someone who thrives on turning site data into actionable remediation strategies and enjoys seeing projects through from investigation to closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead remedial design and site investigation work across a portfolio of brownfields projects.
- Interpret site characterization data to develop conceptual site models and remedial approaches.
- Prepare technical reports, work plans, and regulatory submittals in line with state and federal programs.
- Manage project scope, budget, and schedule while coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Mentor junior engineers and geologists, providing technical review and guidance.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of environmental consulting experience with a focus on remediation and site investigation.
- PE license, or the ability to obtain it in the near term.
- Hands-on experience designing vapor intrusion mitigation systems.
- Methane mitigation design experience.
- Strong working knowledge of brownfields programs and applicable state/federal environmental regulations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
