Are you an experienced environmental professional ready to take ownership of high-impact projects and build lasting client relationships? We're partnering with a national environmental consulting firm delivering a full range of services, including site investigation and remediation, and they're looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join their team.

This role is built for someone who enjoys both technical delivery and client engagement. You'll lead projects, support business development, and have the runway to grow your own client base with the backing of an established, nationally recognized firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental projects from initiation through completion, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget
  • Provide senior-level technical direction and quality assurance for assessments, remediation, and permitting projects
  • Develop proposals and budgets while managing financial performance
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, laboratories, and regulatory agencies at all levels
  • Mentor and supervise technical staff, supporting their professional development
  • Oversee subcontractor work and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Drive business development and contribute to strategic growth within the Environmental Practice

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of environmental consulting experience, with a strong project management background
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Professional license preferred (P.E. or P.G.)
  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations, including RCRA, Act 2, CERCLA, and the Clean Water Act
  • Experience conducting site assessments and remediation, interpreting data, and advising clients
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines with strong cost control
  • Experience supervising and mentoring technical staff
  • Established client relationships in markets such as Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Mining, Power, Public Sector, Waste Management, or Manufacturing
  • Proven business development and client management experience
