A leading international applied earth sciences and engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, Geological Engineer, or Geoscientist to join its growing Nashville-based team.
This is an opportunity to work on some of the most technically challenging transportation, infrastructure, pipeline, and geohazard projects across North America and internationally while helping grow a rapidly expanding Southeast presence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical, geological, and geoscience components of transportation and infrastructure projects
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, and client deliverables
- Oversee site investigations, field programs, and geohazard assessments
- Provide technical leadership and review of engineering reports and designs
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and geoscientists
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners
- Support proposal development, business development, and strategic growth initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices and technical disciplines
Desired Background
- 10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, geoscience, or related consulting disciplines
- PE or PG licensure preferred
- Advanced degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Experience managing projects within transportation, infrastructure, geohazards, or pipeline sectors
- Strong technical expertise in one or more of the following:
- Engineering Geology
- Geohazards
- Groundwater
- Rock Mechanics
- Soil Mechanics
- Surface Water
- Proven ability to manage clients, projects, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
