Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design efforts from concept through construction
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations
- Collaborate directly with architects, owners, contractors, and internal design teams
- Develop engineering calculations, equipment selections, and technical specifications
- Produce and review construction documents using Revit and CAD platforms
- Conduct site visits and support construction administration activities
- Support business development efforts, proposal preparation, and client relationship management
- Contribute to office growth, team development, and long-term strategic initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of consulting engineering experience
- Experience designing HVAC and mechanical systems for institutional or commercial buildings
- Strong understanding of applicable building codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Revit experience preferred
- PE license preferred or actively pursuing licensure
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
