Senior Project Controls Engineer
LVI Associates is partnering with a leading project controls consultancy supporting some of the most complex mission critical and data center construction programs across North America.
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale data center projects in the New Albany, Ohio market. This individual will work closely with project managers, contractors, owners, and key stakeholders to develop, manage, and maintain project schedules and controls systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor CPM construction schedules.
- Review project documents and specifications to create accurate baseline schedules, including all required milestones and key deliverables.
- Perform schedule updates and prepare detailed progress reports and narratives.
- Analyze project schedules and provide recommendations to improve project performance.
- Conduct critical path analyses and identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities.
- Perform site walks to validate construction progress and support project reporting requirements.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for project teams and leadership.
- Review contractor progress and communicate key findings to project stakeholders.
- Develop project metrics, KPIs, and benchmarking reports.
- Support cost and resource management activities.
- Identify and evaluate schedule-related risks and impacts.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations effectively.
- Collaborate with owners, contractors, consultants, and project teams throughout project delivery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within the construction industry.
- 2+ years of project controls experience supporting data center projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Thorough understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
- Experience developing and maintaining schedules for large-scale data center construction projects.
- Experience with cost and resource management reporting.
- Familiarity with contract provisions relating to planning and scheduling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- AACE PSP and/or PMI-SP certifications are preferred.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in New Albany, Ohio.
