Senior Project Manager - Water Resources
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a growing Water Resources team delivering impactful infrastructure projects across Texas. This position is open to Texas-based engineers and offers the flexibility to work fully remote, with the option to collaborate with team members and clients across the state.
This role is ideal for a technical leader who enjoys managing complex water resources projects while mentoring staff, building client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of a successful practice.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver water resources projects from planning through design and construction.
- Lead drainage, stormwater, floodplain, and flood mitigation projects for public and private sector clients.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and deliverables.
- Provide technical leadership and quality control for engineering work products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal, county, and regional clients.
- Support business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, and client meetings.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- PE license required.
- 8+ years of experience in water resources, drainage, stormwater, floodplain management, or H&H engineering.
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, or similar modeling software.
- Proven success managing projects, budgets, and client relationships.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience working with Texas municipalities, counties, drainage districts, or public agencies is highly preferred.
