Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Applied Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience designing technology systems using REVIT.
- Strong REVIT design and documentation experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Experience using Bluebeam or similar PDF/document management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred
- RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer)
- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
- PSP (Physical Security Professional)
- AutoCAD experience
- Additional technology systems design experience
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, owners, architects, engineers, and project teams to define technology, audiovisual, and security system requirements.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including drawings, diagrams, plans, specifications, and details.
- Perform quality control reviews and provide redline markups for project documentation and submittals.
- Research applicable codes, standards, equipment, and construction methods to support project development.
- Prepare project narratives, addenda, ASIs, CCDs, and other construction-phase documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and assist project managers with coordination and resource planning.
- Mentor and support junior designers, providing technical guidance and professional development opportunities.

This role is ideal for an experienced Technology Systems Designer, ICT Designer, Low Voltage Designer, Security Designer, or Telecommunications Designer with strong REVIT expertise and experience supporting complex building technology projects.
