Associate / Senior Civil Engineering Leader

One of my clients, a well-established engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced civil engineering professional at the Associate level to play a key role in both business development and project delivery. This opportunity is ideal for someone with 15-20+ years of experience who enjoys building client relationships, leading teams, and driving the growth of a successful engineering practice.

Responsibilities

Lead business development efforts and identify new project opportunities across the Utah market.
Strengthen and expand relationships with existing clients while cultivating new partnerships.
Drive revenue growth by developing and executing strategic plans for market expansion.
Collaborate with leadership to establish business goals and growth initiatives.
Oversee and support project execution, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget expectations are met.
Mentor and develop engineering staff, helping build technical and leadership capabilities within the team.
Represent the firm at industry events, professional organizations, and client meetings.
Assist with proposals, presentations, contract negotiations, and project pursuits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
15-20+ years of consulting engineering experience.
Proven track record of winning work and developing long-term client relationships.
Strong understanding of the Utah engineering market and local municipalities/agencies.
Experience managing projects, teams, and client accounts.
Excellent communication, leadership, and business development skills.
