What You'll Do

  • Perform structural analysis and design for new buildings, renovations, and specialty structures.

  • Conduct forensic investigations of structural failures, building envelope issues, and construction defects.

  • Prepare written reports, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, attorneys, and property owners to deliver clear, actionable engineering solutions.

  • Provide QA/QC review of engineering work and support junior engineers as needed.

  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and expert evaluations.

  • Manage projects, budgets, and schedules with a high degree of independence.

What You Bring

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

  • 5-12+ years of structural engineering experience in building design, forensic engineering, or both.

  • Strong technical skills in structural analysis, materials behavior, and building systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non‑engineers.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Curiosity, problem‑solving mindset, and interest in both design and investigative work.
