What You'll Do
Perform structural analysis and design for new buildings, renovations, and specialty structures.
Conduct forensic investigations of structural failures, building envelope issues, and construction defects.
Prepare written reports, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, attorneys, and property owners to deliver clear, actionable engineering solutions.
Provide QA/QC review of engineering work and support junior engineers as needed.
Participate in client meetings, site visits, and expert evaluations.
Manage projects, budgets, and schedules with a high degree of independence.
What You Bring
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
5-12+ years of structural engineering experience in building design, forensic engineering, or both.
Strong technical skills in structural analysis, materials behavior, and building systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non‑engineers.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively.
Curiosity, problem‑solving mindset, and interest in both design and investigative work.
