Survey Project Manager
We are working with a client who is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Survey Project Manager to lead and oversee land surveying projects across the Denver metro area. The ideal candidate will manage field and office teams, ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate land surveying projects from initiation to completion.
- Supervise field crews and office staff, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and processing.
- Review and interpret survey data for engineering and construction applications.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations.
- Perform quality control checks on survey deliverables.
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and billing reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Colorado (or ability to obtain).
- 5+ years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in a project management role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and other survey software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking.
- Familiarity with GIS and drone-based survey technologies.
- Knowledge of Colorado land use and zoning regulations
