A well-established surveying firm serving North and South Carolina for nearly four decades is looking for a Survey Project Manager to oversee a variety of land development, commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. What You'll Be Doing
- Manage survey projects from proposal through final delivery.
- Coordinate field crews, CAD technicians, and project schedules.
- Oversee Boundary, ALTA/NSPS, Topographic, As-Built, Route, and Construction Staking surveys.
- Review plats, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, engineers, developers, and contractors.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
- Support business development efforts and client relationship management.
- Mentor junior survey staff and help grow the survey team.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- PLS license preferred; LSIT candidates with strong project management experience encouraged to apply.
- 5+ years of land surveying experience.
- Experience managing survey projects and client relationships.
- Strong understanding of boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, construction staking, and land development projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, Trimble Business Center, or similar software.
- Experience with GPS, robotic total stations, and modern surveying technology.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
