Our client is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to lead and deliver roadway, highway, traffic, and transportation infrastructure projects throughout Ohio. Responsibilities
- Manage transportation engineering projects from planning and design through construction support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Lead project teams, coordinate resources, and oversee project schedules and budgets.
- Mentor engineers, designers, and technical staff.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, reports, and contract documents.
- Coordinate with ODOT, local agencies, municipalities, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Support business development efforts, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
- Identify opportunities for project growth and long-term client partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or ability to obtain Ohio licensure through reciprocity.
- 8+ years of transportation engineering experience.
- Proven project management experience leading roadway, highway, traffic, or transportation infrastructure projects.
- Strong familiarity with ODOT standards, policies, and project delivery processes.
- Experience managing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, Civil 3D, or similar transportation design software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.

- ODOT roadway and transportation improvement projects.
- Corridor studies, intersection improvements, and traffic engineering projects.
- Design-build or alternative delivery project experience.
- Municipal transportation infrastructure projects.
- Business development and client relationship management responsibilities.
