We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing Transportation team in Houston. This leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality infrastructure projects while mentoring and developing junior staff. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our local presence, managing complex transportation projects, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage transportation infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and client communications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
- Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Help grow the Houston office by identifying staffing needs and supporting recruitment efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required.
- 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering and project management.
- Proven track record of managing TxDOT or municipal transportation projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience mentoring junior staff and fostering team development.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with TxDOT standards and procedures.
- Experience with roadway design, traffic engineering, or transportation planning.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
