The Opportunity:
This role sits at the center of the business, leading strategy and execution across non‑CO₂ emissions pathways (e.g., methane, HFCs, N₂O). The VP will own the full lifecycle-from market engagement and technical diligence through to investment support and portfolio oversight-while acting as a key bridge between scientific, commercial, and external stakeholders.
You'll play a critical role in evaluating project quality, developing assessment frameworks, supporting investment decisions, and shaping how the organization navigates evolving carbon market standards. There's also a strong external-facing element, contributing to thought leadership and translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
What They're Looking For:
- Deep expertise in GHG mitigation, ideally with exposure to non‑CO₂ pathways
- Experience within carbon markets, environmental commodities, or project-based climate solutions
- Hands-on background in project due diligence, technical evaluation, or methodology review
- Ability to operate across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills with a track record of translating technical content for broader audiences
Location: Hybrid flexibility US wide (preferred locations are California and New York)
