Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience
About the Role
A consulting engineering firm is seeking a Civil Engineer to support a variety of water resources and infrastructure projects throughout Colorado. This role offers exposure to project planning, design, analysis, and construction support while working alongside experienced engineers and project managers.
The position is well-suited for an engineer looking to build technical expertise, take on increasing responsibility, and contribute to projects that have a direct impact on local communities and water systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and delivery of water resources and civil infrastructure projects.
- Perform engineering analyses and develop supporting calculations.
- Prepare reports, technical memoranda, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Assist with drainage, stormwater, watershed, and hydraulic studies.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, contractors, and public agencies.
- Support project scheduling, budgeting, and overall project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- EIT certification preferred.
- 2+ years of engineering or consulting experience.
- Experience with engineering design and modeling software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment.
