A reputable engineering consulting firm is seeking a Wastewater Collection & Treatment Group Lead to oversee its wastewater practice, providing leadership across project delivery, technical excellence, staff development, and business growth.

This role is ideal for an experienced wastewater professional who enjoys leading teams, mentoring engineers, managing client relationships, and helping shape the future direction of a growing practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead wastewater treatment and collection teams across project delivery and technical execution.
  • Provide oversight on complex wastewater treatment, sewer, and municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Support project managers with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client management.
  • Mentor and develop engineers and project managers.
  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing, resource planning, and team growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with municipal clients, utility leaders, and industry partners.
  • Support business development efforts, proposals, and strategic pursuits.
  • Drive consistency in project delivery standards and quality practices.
  • Work across multidisciplinary teams to support successful project execution and market growth.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and long-term practice development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Extensive experience with wastewater treatment, collection systems, and municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and technical staff.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery, operational management, and client service.
  • Experience developing municipal client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.
