Water Treatment Process - Senior Engineer

We are currently seeking a Water Treatment Process - Senior Engineer to join the Water Team in our Atlanta office. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with deep expertise in wastewater treatment processes and a strong background in project management. A flexible hybrid-remote schedule is available after 30 days of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage design tasks for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including pump stations, CSOs, and related infrastructure.
- Oversee the development of engineering drawings, specifications, P&IDs, calculations, and technical reports.
- Evaluate wet weather control strategies and alternative treatment solutions.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to produce construction bid documents.
- Conduct site visits for equipment evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, and construction observation.
- Guide junior and entry-level engineers through mentorship and technical leadership.
- Prepare and review scopes, budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Support proposal development, client presentations, and marketing efforts.
- Participate in field investigations, data collection, and analysis, occasionally requiring travel to project sites.
- Provide office engineering support during construction, including submittal reviews and RFIs.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
- Attend professional development seminars and industry meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia.
- 12+ years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
- Strong technical background in wastewater treatment processes and infrastructure.
- Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and collaborative team player.
