Position: Heavy Civil Project Manager
Location: Orlando, FL or Tampa, FL
Salary: $80,000- $120,000 + Bonus(s)
We currently have openings for a Heavy Civil Project Manager in both the Orlando and Tampa areas. As a Heavy Civil Project Manager, you will oversee and drive the success of complex civil construction projects all over Central Florida. Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in project management within the heavy civil construction sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale civil projects, including roads, bridges, and infrastructure developments.
- Experience working on projects in the Central Florida area is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage subcontractors, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Expertise in project scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
- Successful history of ensuring projects comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Experience in negotiating contracts, managing change orders, and resolving disputes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees and professional certifications are advantageous.
- Thorough knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and industry best practices.
- Prior experience working on FDOT projects is highly preferred
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
