Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of heavy civil construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
- Assist in cost estimating, budget management, and procurement of materials.
- Coordinate with design teams and engineers to resolve technical issues and optimize project efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Experience Needed:
- 1-5 years of experience in heavy civil construction or related field.
- Hands-on experience with project engineering or project management responsibilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and equipment used in heavy civil projects.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
