LVI Associates are currently partnered with a respected, multi-disciplined construction consulting firm with a dedicated group specialising in forensic investigations for litigation and insurance clientele. They are looking to expand their team by bringing on board a skilled Forensic Structural Engineer to spearhead their expansion in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth forensic investigations and analyses of structural failures, building defects, and construction-related issues.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations for repair or improvement.
- Perform on-site inspections and assessments to evaluate structural integrity and identify potential concerns.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to devise effective solutions for building envelope-related challenges.
- Offer expert testimony and support in legal proceedings, as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural or Structural Engineering.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE), or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
- Proven experience in forensic structural engineering or a strong willingness to work on such projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and relevant design tools.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Interest or familiarity with building envelope-related projects.
