Senior Transmission Operations Engineer in Columbus, Ohio (HYBRID) *No Relocation, Must Be Located in Ohio*
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our client's team as a Senior Transmission Operations Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing system operations, maintenance, and field operations while developing processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
Skills:
1) Strong interpersonal communication skills.
2) Ability to identify problems quickly.
3) Excellent analytical thinking capabilities.
4) A four-year accredited degree in engineering preferred.
5) A minimum of 5 years of experience in electric transmission field services, engineering or maintenance and operations is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing System Operation & Maintenance
* Assist with monitoring all aspects of daily operation activities such as fault analysis investigations on protection devices (relays), transformer loading assessments along regular inspections of line conditions
* Develop operational plans that effectively address risk assessments during critical events like storms which may impact grid stability
