Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our team in the Southeast region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering, with expertise in building design. The position requires an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to design and analyze structural systems for buildings.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant project information.
- Coordinate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
- Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- EIT certification is required; PE license is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering for buildings.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and design tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
