Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Travelling Superintendent to oversee our data center construction projects nationwide. As a Travelling Superintendent, you will be the on-site leader, ensuring that projects are executed smoothly, on time, and to the highest standards. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to manage multiple high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Leadership: Manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce quality control standards and ensure all work complies with company and industry standards.
- Safety Management: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise on site promptly and effectively.
- Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with project managers, stakeholders, and clients.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, schedules, and budget updates.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role, preferably in data center or mission-critical construction.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in construction management software.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices. Familiarity with data center infrastructure is preferred.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively and stay on location for extended periods.
