Position: Pipe/Utility Superintendent
Location: Portland, OR
Salary: $120,000-$180,000

They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Pipe/Utility Superintendent to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of pipe and utility construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and field staff to ensure project deadlines, budget, and quality standards are met.
- Supervise field crews, including pipefitters, equipment operators, and laborers, to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status, resolve issues, and address any concerns.
Experience Needed:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pipe and utility construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects of varying size and complexity.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations related to pipe and utility installations.
- Experience in supervising field crews and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, CPR/First Aid, Excavation Safety) are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
