Job Title: Senior AV Field Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Senior AV Field Engineer to join our client. The Senior AV Field Engineer will play a crucial role in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of audiovisual systems, ensuring high-quality performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of audiovisual systems, including audio, video, control, and network components.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather requirements, identify technical constraints, and develop installation plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery within schedule and budget constraints.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior field engineers and technicians.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AV systems, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Conduct system training for clients and end-users and provide ongoing support as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to audiovisual systems integration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV system integration, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical knowledge of audiovisual systems, including audio processing, video distribution, control systems, and network protocols.
- Proficiency with AV industry standards and best practices, including ANSI/INFOCOMM standards and AVIXA certifications.
- Experience with a variety of AV equipment and manufacturers, such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, and Cisco.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
