About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead the delivery of urban planning projects across Greater Sydney. This role combines project leadership, client management, team development, and business growth, with a focus on strategic planning, land development, infrastructure, and urban renewal projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex urban planning and development projects from inception through to approval.
- Provide strategic planning advice to public and private sector clients.
- Manage client relationships and drive business development opportunities.
- Mentor and develop a team of planners while ensuring high-quality project delivery.
- Build and maintain relationships with councils, government agencies, developers, and key stakeholders.
About You
- 10-15 years' experience in urban or strategic planning.
- Strong knowledge of the NSW planning system and approval pathways.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and project teams.
- Proven ability to win work and develop client relationships.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
- Degree qualified in Urban Planning or a related discipline.
- PIA membership desirable.
