Structural Engineer (Parking Garage Diagnostics)

We are currently partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking engineering consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineer for a key role within their growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections and condition assessments of existing structures, identifying deterioration, structural issues, and maintenance needs.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, including photographic documentation and prioritized repair recommendations.
• Design and engineer structural repair and rehabilitation solutions in compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Collaborate with business development teams to communicate technical findings and support client engagement.
• Review structural calculations, drawings, and construction documents; provide technical oversight throughout project execution.
• Serve as a mentor and peer reviewer, supporting the training and development of junior engineering staff.
• Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices through ongoing professional development.

Experience:

• Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years in structural engineering with a focus on concrete construction, repair, and restoration
• Demonstrated experience in forensic investigation and engineering of repair solutions for parking structures and similar facilities.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ACI, IBC, ASTM, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.
