Transportation CEI Project Manager
Seeking a Professional with extensive experience in construction management and leading contracts for road and bridge projects, with a progressive career development and expertise in leading diverse teams. Previous experience managing contracts with state and local agencies is required, and experience with heavy civil, rail, or airport clients in Northern Virginia is a plus.
Responsibilities
Provide senior leadership and oversight in Northern Virginia.
Responsible for business development, proposals, and contracting.
Identify recruiting needs and coordinate efforts with Group Managers.
Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
Standardize processes, tools, and technology for service delivery.
Involved in strategic planning and corporate initiatives.
Attend professional conferences and engage in associations.
Maintain registrations and certifications.
Qualifications
B.S. in an industry-related field; advanced degree preferred.
PE in Virginia, or ability to obtain within 6 months, required.
CCM preferred.
Detailed knowledge of construction management and project controls, especially state construction management and administration.
Experience in project management techniques including budgeting, leadership, training, and business development.
Skills:
Expertise in construction engineering and inspection services.
Strategic approach to projects, programs, service delivery, marketing, and business development.
Capable of managing major contracts, complex teams, and multiple assignments.
Able to take projects from conception to completion while maintaining overall objectives
Supervise large and/or multiple teams.
