BAS Controls Sales Executive

Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated BAS Controls Sales Executive to drive business growth and develop long-term client relationships throughout the greater Allentown market. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and working closely with internal teams to deliver building automation solutions that meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in building automation, HVAC controls, mechanical systems, or a related industry, along with a proven ability to develop business and build lasting customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and other key markets.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and support customer retention efforts.
  • Meet with clients to understand project requirements and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to develop solutions and proposals.
  • Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and project recommendations.
  • Track market activity and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and customer meetings.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Support the successful transition of awarded projects to operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience in building automation, controls, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or a related technical sales environment.
  • Strong business development and account management experience.
  • Ability to develop relationships with building owners, contractors, engineers, and facility managers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
