The Role
A project management position for an experienced civil engineer ready to lead land development, transportation, and public works projects from pursuit through closeout. You'll manage client relationships, lead a team of engineers and designers, and play an active role in business development - all while reporting directly to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering design including schematics, construction plans, specifications, and estimates
- Manage multiple concurrent projects within client specifications, budgets, and schedules
- Coordinate with and lead EITs, designers, and drafters across varied experience levels
- Prepare technical reports, memoranda, proposals, and contract documents
- Research jurisdictional requirements and incorporate into design and construction drawings
- Manage client relationships and coordinate marketing efforts for future work
- Conduct site visits, document findings, and manage general project correspondence
- Prepare invoicing documentation and manage accounts receivable
- Track and update project performance metrics
- Support preparation of presentations and graphic materials
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Washington State PE license
- 6 to 8+ years of civil engineering experience including project management
- Experience across land development, transportation, and public works project types
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and client communication skills
- Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple projects independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MicroStation
- Background across industrial, commercial, and residential development projects
- Proven track record in business development and project pursuit efforts

Compensation
- $132,000 to $153,000 depending on experience, plus discretionary annual bonus
