As they continue to grow their municipal practice, they are seeking a Client Director to serve as a trusted advisor to municipal clients while leading important infrastructure projects throughout the region.

The Role
As Client Director, you will act as the primary relationship manager and strategic advisor for municipal clients while providing oversight of infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
You will help communities identify infrastructure needs, develop practical solutions, navigate funding opportunities, and execute projects that improve public services and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal and public-sector clients.
- Develop and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
- Advise communities on infrastructure planning, capital improvement programs, and project priorities.
- Lead client meetings and represent projects before councils, boards, and public stakeholders.
- Oversee projects involving transportation, roadway improvements, water systems, wastewater facilities, stormwater management, drainage, and other municipal infrastructure.
- Conduct infrastructure assessments and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Develop scopes, proposals, budgets, schedules, and fee estimates.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, funding organizations, and project stakeholders.
- Review engineering reports, studies, and technical recommendations.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of the municipal services team.
- Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities to expand municipal partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure.
- 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, municipal engineering, transportation, water/wastewater, public works, or related infrastructure sectors.
- Strong project management and client relationship experience.
- Knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems and project delivery.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with public-sector clients, elected officials, or regulatory agencies is highly desirable.
