About the Opportunity
LVI Associates is partnering with a leading heavy civil contractor to identify a Deep Foundations Manager to support the continued growth of its foundations division.
This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced deep foundations professional who wants to combine operational management, project oversight, technical leadership, and business development responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued growth of the foundations group while supporting complex infrastructure projects across the region.
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys both office and field responsibilities, with involvement in project planning, estimating, scheduling, mentoring field teams, solving technical challenges, and helping drive future business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the company's deep foundations operations, with a primary focus on drilled shaft construction.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Superintendents, Project Managers, and field personnel.
- Support project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and overall project execution.
- Act as the senior point of contact for complex construction challenges, equipment selection, and means and methods decisions.
- Assist with estimating, bid preparation, pricing, and pursuit of new projects.
- Travel to active project sites throughout the region to provide operational oversight and support.
- Evaluate new equipment, tooling, and operational improvements to enhance project performance.
- Work closely with executive leadership to strengthen and grow the foundations division.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience within deep foundations construction.
- Strong experience managing drilled shaft projects.
- Proven background in heavy civil, bridge, transportation, marine, or infrastructure construction.
- Previous experience as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Foundations Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of deep foundation construction methods, equipment, and field operations.
- Experience supporting estimating, bidding, scheduling, budgeting, and project planning activities.
- Ability to balance office-based responsibilities with regular field involvement.
- Experience with piling, sheeting, marine foundations, or specialty foundation systems is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
